Jūratė Cikanavičienė

After graduating from Kaunas Art Institute with a degree in glass I worked in graphic design. I got interested in Eastern philosophy, Taoism and 5 elements personality typology, which opened up for me the meaningfulness of the symbolic and archetypal world. I practiced Tai-chi for a long time. The training helped me not only to feel my body better, but also to connect my inner world with the outer one. All this led me to studies of psychology, where I was able to combine Eastern and Western psychological traditions and gain a deeper understanding of personal growth and self-knowledge. I graduated from the Analytical Training Programme and became a Jungian Psychotherapist.

I have worked in psychiatric hospitals in acute psychosis and narcology wards, as well as psychologist in high school. I have led therapy groups at the Vilnius Union of the Disabled. Since 2016 I have a private practice in Vilnius where I provide counselling services.
