Clinical psychologist, Jungian psychotherapist, PhD
About myself
I received my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 2004 and my Doctorate in Social Sciences in 2011.
In 2021 I completed the Analytical Psychotherapy training programme.
I started my counselling work in 2003, providing psychological counselling to members of the Vilnius University community (in the Community Welfare Unit of Vilnius University), and in 2016 I started my private practice, which I have continued until now. I also have experience with children and adolescents in care. Currently, I mainly work with young adults, as well as middle-aged people.
I have been teaching at Mykolas Romeris University from 2007 to 2015, and since 2015 I have been working at Vilnius University, teaching various counselling-related courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
In my practical work, I have always sought to draw on the latest scientific knowledge, and it is important to me that this knowledge is accessible and applicable in practice, and that it is useful to the individual. The Jungian orientation, in my opinion, offers the possibility of a deeper, more comprehensive knowledge of the human psyche, broadening and deepening the understanding of human relationships.
