About myself
Education
I obtained my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Vilnius University in 2005.
In 2014 I defended my PhD thesis "Reflections of psychotherapeutic change: therapeutic factors and transformation of anger expression" at Vilnius University.
In 2017-2018 I did postdoctoral research at Lund University in Sweden.
Between 2016 and 2021 I studied in the Analytical Psychotherapy training programme and qualified as a psychotherapist.
Work experience
From 2010 to 2013 I worked as a clinical psychologist at the Republican Vilnius Psychiatric Hospital in Vilnius.
2014-2017 I provided psychological counselling to students at the Vilnius University Psychological Counselling and Training Centre, and met clients privately. At the same time I counselled refugees and asylum seekers at the Pabradė Alien Registration Centre.
In 2014-2017 I worked as a lecturer at the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences.
From 2017 to the present I have been running a private psychological practice (online counselling)
From 2021 to now I am working as a clinical psychologist in a psychiatric clinic in Sweden.
Since 2021 I am the Chair of the LGBTQIA+ Psychological Group at Lithuanian Psychological Association.
2022-2025 I am a boardmember at Lithuanian Psychological Association.
From 2024 to now I am the Chair of Coalition Mental Health 2030.
