About myself

In 1997 I graduated from the Therapeutic Medicine studies at Vilnius University. In 2000 I completed my residency in Rehabilitation Medicine. From 2000 till 2019 I had worked as a Rehabilitation Doctor at the Vilnius Mental Hospital: initially as a doctor of bodily ailments, but eventually more in the field of psychosocial rehabilitation. After the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Department was set up, I managed it for several years. Gradually I became more and more interested in the depths of the psyche, so I started studying psychotherapy in parallel. At first I completed the basic level of Gestalt psychotherapy at the Centre for the Study of Practical Psychology (Vilnius) in 2009; in 2014 I qualified as a C.G.Jung psychotherapist there and in 2016 I became a Jungian psychoanalyst through the International Analytical Psychology Routers programme.

I am also interested in native culture, mythology and art therapy. I‘ve written several articles, prepared lectures and seminars on these topics.
